Dobinger (ad)
Constructed: 1963 Preferences: Vehicles, planes and all
others, they enjoy modelling Scale: flexible, dependent on
kit
Profile: As a child I collect the first experiences in building plastic
models, they were glued simple and painted with normal brush. But in
those days I was very proud on them, because I have not seen, what for
a model you can produce with a good kit and good technology. After some
years of absence, some other interests have took more place in my life,
I came back to this hobby by sheer chance. After the technologies, the
kits and my ability have developed in the meantime, I enjoyed in
modelling again. Of course, it is essential, that my models will be
better, step by step, but for all I try to find fun and not dead
seriousness in modelling.

Strassmayer (ws) Constructed: 1959 Preferences:
planes and accessories Scale: 1:48
Profile: I've been starting with modelling at the age of 7 years, with
an Airfix-Kit of the Sopwith Camel in scale 1:72 - at this time, I had
never heard before of decals, and how to fix them ......let's forget
it! Twelf years of modelling later, I stopped this hobby, because some
other things took place in my life (cars, girls......). At the age of
44, I came back with an A37-Dragonfly (Revell 1:48) to modelling
........

 | | Georg Schachinger (GS) Constructed: 1964 Preferences: WW2, EDW
Scale: 1:35 1:48 Profile: Born in Upper-Austria, I am living in Vienna since 1986. Since my 14th year
I’m building models, but on a higher level I’m building tanks, vehicles,
figures and –as my favourite –dioramas, since 1998. The most loved for me is to build
models without any after-market-parts. Sometimes that are “stupid” ideas, like
to scratch a segment of a “Panzer IV” or a complete self-made interiour of a “StuG
III” ….. To scratch such things brings more fun as to buy it – and it is more
cheeper. In some
contests in Hungary and at Online-platforms (armorama.com, panzer-modell.de) my
model have brought success. Also in some modellers-magazines – like “KIT”, “Military
Modelling Magazine and “Fine Scale Modeller” was modells was published. You can
also see my modells at www.panzermodellbau.com. Other
hobbies of mine are my family, coral-singing and military-history.
