Dear users
Here I want to show you my last model, which
I was build in the frame of a groupbuild.
It is a Panzer III, with some accessoirs built to
a wrecker version.

Here you come to the report ...

I write that I started this project in the frame of a groupbuild. The model and the accessors I buy a long time ago but I can get motivated me to started it. The kick I get in a groupbuild, i found it very interest to make a building and so you can match you with other guy´s. For me this is a great motivation and I like the game.

Let us come to the material I used:

  • Panzer III L fromTamiya
  • Workstation from Hauler
  • Track from Friul
  • Figurs from Dartmoor
  • Etched parts from Hauler
  • some fittings

In the border of building I use this parts:

  • Colors and paints from Tamiya, Gunze and Vallejo
  • White glue and bedding from Heki
  • Pigments
  • Picture frame of a building center
  • some brushes
  • Hairspray

And for the personally support uncounted cups of coffee and a good music from the radio.

The building:
Here I started with the working base because it will be the bigger challange for me. The building was easy and so I can move fast to the paintjob. The working base consists of serveral materials I use several colors for it. First all get a base color from Tamiya, I use buff and dessert yellow fpr this part. Than I paint the wooden parts with some oilcolors to get a structure. For the iron parts I used an red color to simulated the base color. After the drying time a give 2 layers of clear flat paint over all to protect it.

After the drytime I put 2 layers of hairspray on the outsites and then I give a layer of buff. After few minutes I remove the buff with a brush, soaked in warm tab water. So you can make color who have a in used look and it go´s very easy and also to handling.

The model himself is in the high standart of the manufactor Tamiya and easy to built. Here I make some groups for eayser handling and painting, in my case I built the tank complet and the wheels separated. Also I can only recommend the tracks of Friul, you can finish your model and at last you mount the tracks.

For the paintjob in this case I used colors from Valleyo and after the base color for check was on it I make some layers with buff and dessert yellow on the model. The next step are the chips, for this part I used buff and for the deeper chips german camouflage brown. Some little help for handling your model in the paintjob will be a clamp, built of Lego stones and you can fix your model with small pieces of blue tac.

The Figurs:
This time I take some figurs from Dartmoor, the are metal and finished. After a short cleaning a take a base color of Valleyo over it. On this I make the paintjob also with colors of this brand, for give her more structure. For my sorry I must say, painting of figurs are not my skills and so I paint it very ordinary with a little drybrush. The masters of figur painters will forgive me for this.
