In
inventoring my stock, I have found two T34-Kits (T34-76/Tamiya and
T34-85/Hobby-Boss) so I have started to think, what I can do with them. As I
was so “brain-storming”, I hav remembered a story, I have read before a long
time anywhere …..
During the first
battle around minsk, the T34-76 was hit on the right side - the engine has
burned, but the crew was able to bail out. Only the charger has died resulting
of his burnings.
During the second battle of Minsk (Operation "Bagration") the
crew come back to the grave, restores it and a pope gives the last blessing.
While the crew-men remembers their comrade, a german patrol arrives and
was captured by the escorting infantry .....
For the figures I
have used a wild mix of CMK, ICM, Preise, Tamiya and Verlinden; some of them I
had to rebuild. Weapons and Compartment are form Tamiyas russian and german infantery
and the german grenadeers-set.
