France 1944
Here a diorama from Martin´s workshops. It shows a GI-troop with a jeep and a Halftrack that put down total in scene with much love to the detail wonderfully.  
 
The diorama appears them/her/it a dispersed group of GI´s on a lonesome forest path with a small troop of the Airborne meets. The commanders try to find the right way and exchange information over possible German movements. In the first weeks after the landing, some bewilderment often ruled the situation. Through the partially fast venture of the allied and for lack of suitable cards and information, such scenes occurred more frequently than planned. The luck in the accident go out that she/it usually leniently however and the soldiers again regardless of to her/its/their troop-body back came

The used kits:
US HALFTRACK M3A2 INCL. Personnel, US Willy´s jeep incl. Fahrer,Funker and commander in the jeep from the kit Combat Group –alle of Tamiya 
101st Airborne - Italierie + 3 additional figures from the same kit

Following rebuildings and homemade were done:
Funker and commander in the jeep - arm and leg-stand changes.  
101st Airborne arm-position changes, camouflage-networks at US Halftrack M3A2 produced from association-material, ropes from sewing cotton. Tarpaulin with Willy´s jeep produced from tissue, ropes from Nähfaden.  
At equipment, canisters, backpacks etc was taken the equipment-kit for GMC of Tamiya

Colors:
Reason-colors for figures and vehicles - Humbrol 
Strongly rarefied Humrols and partial oils were used for the Washing. 
Highlightses as well as easy contamination became with Trockenmaltechnik - Humbrol - produced. The strong contamination has been found with pastel-chalk.

The construction of the terrain:
On a base-plate in the size 30x20cm was modeled the terrain then and was processed.  
The terrain consists of paper-mach, which was coated with plaster.  
That ground as well as Bewuchsschichten is produced with a mixture from coffee-broth, powder-glues, plaster and water. Tree and shrubbery is shaped with sea-foam-material.  
The green area consists of very thin felt-similar material from the model-railroad-demand, which owns good lengthening-qualities.   
The water-surface became with a candle-gel, Silikon-like mass - through brings to boil liquid-done, produced. Farblich became the total with Humbrolfarben, in which unlike green and brown-sounds, 1:3–1:6 dilutes found, shapes.
